Return & Refund Policy

At Deepali Jewels, we understand the importance of trust, clarity, and satisfaction when it comes to purchasing fine jewellery. Our return and refund policy is designed to offer you peace of mind while ensuring fairness and transparency throughout the process.

1. Return Eligibility

A. Non-Customized Jewellery

  • Eligible for return within 15 days from the date of delivery.

  • Jewellery must be unworn, unused, and in pristine, original condition.

  • All original components must be returned, including:

    • Invoice

    • Certificate of authenticity

    • Jewellery box and packaging

    • Care guide

B. Customized / Made-to-Order Jewellery

  • Custom or personalized jewellery (engraved pieces, size modifications, special orders) is non-returnable, except under these conditions:

    • The item has a manufacturing defect.

    • The product was damaged during shipping.

  • Return requests for customized jewellery must be made within 7 days of delivery and require supporting images for review.

2. Return Request Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Email us at deepalijewels23@gmail.com within the eligible window, mentioning:

    • Your Order Number

    • Reason for return

    • Clear photographs of the product (if defective or damaged)

  2. Our team will review your request within 2 business days.

  3. Upon approval, we will schedule a free reverse pickup via our secure logistics partner.

  4. You will receive a confirmation with pickup tracking and next steps.

Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted and will be returned to sender.

3. Refund Process

  • Once the returned product is received and passes our quality control inspection, a refund will be credited to your original method of payment within 5–7 business days.

  • If the item fails inspection (e.g., shows signs of wear, is damaged, or has missing components), it will be shipped back to you, and no refund will be credited.

  • Replacement Timeframe: If the replacement/exchange is approved, the replaced/exchanged item will be delivered within 5–7 business days from the date of approval.

4. Buy-Back Policy (Lifetime)

We offer a fair and transparent buy-back and exchange policy for all eligible Deepali Jewels pieces.

  • Within 15 Days of purchase:

    • 100% refund of invoice value (excluding customisation charges).

  • After 15 Days:

    • 80% of diamond value

    • 100% of prevailing market gold value (based on purity and weight)

Note:

  • Original invoice and certificates must be provided.

  • Heavy personalisation may affect the final buy-back value.

5. Warranty & Repairs

All Deepali Jewels products come with a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects.

Covered:

  • Loose stones

  • Clasp or prong issues

  • Minor structural defects

Not Covered:

  • Accidental damage

  • Loss or theft

  • Normal wear and tear

To make a claim:

  • Email us at deepalijewels23@gmail.com with your order details and clear photos.

  • We will guide you on the pickup process or refer you to a partner repair workshop in your city.

6. Our Ethical Commitment

  • All diamonds are conflict-free and ethically sourced, with a growing focus on lab-grown, sustainable options.

  • We partner only with responsible manufacturers in Jaipur and Surat who maintain ethical labor and sourcing standards.

  • All packaging is eco-friendly, recyclable, and plastic-free wherever possible.

7. Certification & Quality Assurance

Each Deepali Jewels order includes:

  • BIS Hallmarked Gold (as per Indian Government Standards)

  • IGI or GIA-certified diamonds

  • Jewellery care guide

  • Invoice & Return Policy card

  • Tamper-proof luxury box

  • Gift-ready carry pouch (if selected)
